AMPAS Holding Hair & Makeup Symposium

AMPAS is holding its Oscar-Nominated Makeup Artist and Hairstylist Symposium on Saturday, February 23rd at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
Last year, the Academy started this annual event with the stylists and makeup artists from movies such as Pan's Labyrinth, Click, and Apocalypto. The nominees for this year's makeup award will talk about their creative process. There will be also be film clips, photos and models showing off their work.
The Makeup Artist and Hairstylist Nominees are:
La Vie en Rose, Didier Lavergne and Jan Archibald
Norbit, Rick Baker and Kazuhiro Tsuji (participated last year with Click)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Ve Neill and Martin Samuel

The Samuel Goldwyn Theater is loacted at 8949 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The event begins at 2:30pm with doors opening at 1:30pm.
