EMMYS Broadcast on Sunday, September 18

The EMMYS will be broadcast by ABC on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 7pm Eastern and 4pm Pacific Time. The awards are a collaboration of three sister organizations: Television Academy, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
This year's primetime ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. The Television Academy has 20,000 members voting on their peers in their areas of expertise. Each year, Chicago manufacturer R.S. Owen Company produces an order between 250 and 400 EMMYS to be awarded at the Creative EMMYS and Primetime EMMYS. The statuette of a winged woman holding up an atom was a design created by Louis McManus. The wings represent the muse of art and the atom the electron of science.
