DeLaurentiis Gambino Team Up To Adapt My Only Son

Suzanne DeLaurentiis is set to adapt a mafia drama from writer Christopher J. Gambino called My Only Son. DeLaurentiis was the producer of the recently released to DVD 10th & Wolf and the indie feature shot in West Palm Beach Shut Up and Kiss Me, which has been making a run on Starz.
To her credit, DeLaurentiis won the Founder's Award for A Month of Sundays, among several other independent features and is honored to have cast the late Rod Steiger in his last film, a heart-warming story about a teenage girl who, with her dying grandfather, played by Steiger, goes off to reconcile with his estranged son.
Production is slated to begin in spring or summer of this year. Shooting will take place in Florida and LA.
