NewFilmmakersLA To Screen Finding Kraftland

NewFilmmakers, which started out in New York 10 years ago and recently reached out to Los Angeles this summer, has two events each month.

This Monday, November 26th, there is a networking event at the original Standard hotel on Sunset Boulevard. The event starts at 9pm with a Free Bar, which lasts until 10pm. The networking continues till 2am.

The same week on Thursday, November 29th, the screening event takes place at the Architecture and Design Museum at 5900 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. For members of the museum, admission is free. For all others, the general admission price is $5.

Screenings start at 6pm with the documentary Finding Kraftland by Richard Kraft & Adam Shell. Shorts will start between 7 and 7:30pm. The short films are Archer House by Dina Gachman, Partially True Tales of High Adventure! by Murphy Gilson, and Greetings From Earth by Kim Jacobs. At 8:45pm, the feature film All The Days Before Tomorrow by François Dompierre will be shown followed by an after party with cocktails.

For both events, it is recommended to bring your headshots, resumes, and scripts.
